...everytime it trimms a video. 11.7.15: cant import from library

I love this app, so beautiful short cuts, this is my first choice for making little impressions. But since iOS 9 (iPhone 6) the app crash by rendering the movies. At the time i cant use it. Hoply this will be fixed.

Did buy the pro version but somehow it misses the import film possibility, everything else works. Tried to reinstall wants me to buy again?nope

A fun and easy app to use. Very intuitive. It lets you shoot as many little clips as you want. Your final movie (a compilation of those clips) can be from anywhere from 3 - 15 seconds. You then pick a film from the editing screen. It previews your finished movie in low res and then you tell it when to process. The finished movies seem to have a bit of randomness to them. Hard to describe, but youll know it when you see it. Clips dont *always* appear in the same order in which they were shot. And the transitions (edits?) between the clips are varied and gorgeous. Within a few minutes of using this app youll be loving the little movies you can make with it. They all have sort of a Hipstamatic in motion feel to them… as though the movies were processed in the same way that gives Hipsta shots that distinctive feel. Highly recommended.

The app launches and then does nothing on first launch. Restarting the app fires up the camera, but recording and filtering is so counter-intuitive that I gave up. Refund, please!!!

The filter options are super uber cool!! Lots of creative ways to make a sprint film like that.

What can I say. Its easy to use. Fun. Creative. Addictive. You can personalize it. I love it. Try it. You wont be disappointed!

Excellent initial role out. Im hoping that audio will eventually match the quality of film. For example, have a super 8 with film motor sprocket sound effect.

Its alright. I like being able to apply filters but most of them have scratches, color flare, or blur, few of which make the video any more appealing. I also understand why the video is square (Instagram) but I would like the option of recording full size. There are better apps available.

Love all the Hipstamatic films and now I can have great mini movies with cool looks! I love this app! Favourite look so far is James! Well worth the price!

Best little video app out there. Simple and super-intuitive, with a great selection of filters.

Having tried a couple of other "short film" apps, the processing and speed in rendering in this one is pretty nice. Well have to see whether or not I keep up with making little videos, but seeing as it doesnt take much longer than taking a few photos, opening Cinamatic instead of going straight for the camera might happen more often than not.

I wrote a quality review of this and my review was deleted. Its a garbage product with zero ability to do as advertised without making countless additional purchases. Its extremely underwhelming and not a credit to their lineage of products. And since they deleted my review, I believe something fishy is up at app-store as well. AVOID!!!

Love it, but the pro features are not working at the moment. On the plus side the new features are exactly what I wanted.
